Monuments

It is considered the only temple to maintain its good condition. It starts with an edifice, open courtyard, another courtyard, decorated by two statues of the Idol Horus at its gate, a hall of two compartments; one a library and the other a storeroom for religious rituals vessels and tools, two corridors; one for the provision of sacrifices and the other a rest place for the idol, and lastly the sanctum sanctorum.

Engravings on the walls are many and tell legendary stories and myths such as the conflict between Horus and Set, the triumph of good over evil, references to the trinity of Edfu, and familial paintings, symbolizing the annual journey of Horus meeting his wife Hathor, Lady of Dandarah once a year.
